Technology leader ASM and global manufacturing solutions partner, Fllex have built a working relationship for a long time. Since 2015, ASMPT SMT Solutions India has been supporting Flex in its manufacturing of charges, parts for the automotive sector and smartphones.

From its initial stages of setting up of Flex’s manufacturing facilities to providing technical support, spare parts to their facilities and training, ASM was providing the support, and serves as a good business partner to Flex.

“It was a focus support system put in place and a dedicated team behind the project that made this possible.

There was a massive project that started in early 2018 which prompted ASM to plan a support network. It not only supported Flex in the start up activities but also provide quick turnaround solutions. ASM (India and global) team put support structure in place which enabled Flex to operate smoothly round the clock by putting a spares hub within Flex, providing technical support & analysis round the clock. ASM experts came to support Flex site from across the globe thus making this project a massive success,”, recalls Vasanth Kumar, General Manager of ASM Assembly India.
