ASM has improved and expanded its facilities in Guadalajara. To better serve and support its customers in Mexico, the new area has been designed as a self contained customer experience area. It features a demo room where SIPLACE Placement machines and DEK printers can be demonstrated to customers, and a comprehensive set of line software and productivity improvement tools from ASM.
“As the market leader in Mexico, ASM has for many years had a large presence in Mexico and a large number of direct staff including field service engineers, sales engineers, applications engineers, 24 x 7 Spanish language technical support personnel, and training staff.” Says Carlos Takahashi, Country Manager for ASM Assembly Systems.
The “state of the art” facility in the demo room can be connected via Hi Resolution TV directly to our Center of Competence in Atlanta, GA to demonstrate ASM’s leading edge capabilities. In addition to the Demo room and conference facility, the customer area features a training center with 2 dedicated training rooms: one for SIPLACE SMT mounters and one for DEK printing systems. Each of the training rooms is equipped with new state of the art equipment and seating for up to ten students. ASM offers unlimited free training for scheduled classes in the training center to any customer owning a DEK or SIPLACE machine purchased from ASM.
ASM Process Support Products now also in Mexico
ASM Process Support Products (PSP) has been a successful part of the ASM SMT business in other geographies for many years and now ASM is launching this business for the first time in Mexico. The business consists of Stencil Manufacturing, Consumables, and process improvement accessories. To support the launch of this business, ASM has added laser cutting equipment and skilled personnel for quick turn manufacture of high quality printer stencils.
