1. Semiconductor solutions (SEMI)

The Material Tower, Die bonder and wire bonder are integrated with our Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) to form the automation line, in the Innovation Centre. We also have the Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) that inspects the modules in both 2D and 3D view.

Interested visitors learn about the fundamentals of how a package is made and what components are inside, such as Leadframe as the base of a package. High-precision Pick and Place system and Encapsulation machine for Advanced Packaging (AP) are also showcased, which starts and brings about overlapping of SEMI and SMT processes for AP production needs and are available in ASM Innovation Centre.

2. Advanced Packaging solutions

It is clear to everyone that the demand for miniaturisation, component density and modularisation is rising. Hence, demand for AP is increasing. As the world’s only equipment supplier for chip assembly and SMT processes, you can witness demonstrations of our DEK Galaxy and SIPLACE TX micron in ASM Innovation Centre. These platforms are capable of controlled ultra-fine paste apertures on your substrates for accurate and clean printing and placement.

3. SMT Solution

The solutions in the SMT section in the Innovation Centre are designed with the SMT 8 Workflows in mind. We believe any electronic production will face them, and these solutions can create positive impact on efficiency, reliability and productivity for our customers. We offer demonstrations on our renowned DEK and SIPLACE platforms, such as tight gap and odd-shape placements, that further emphasise the flexibility, speed, and accuracy of ASM platforms. Together with our factory software solutions, such as at the Factory Wall where ASM Command Centre, ASM Equipment Centre and ASM Production Planner are displayed side-by-side, to show the connectivity and seamless data transfer for 1 truly integrated smart factory.
